VIRTUAL THERAPY IN NC
I help purpose-seeking adults, who feel behind, stuck, or disconnected from their vitality, regulate their nervous systems and identify and take tangible action to build lives that feel resonant, embodied, and self-led. Even if you're unclear about why you are feeling lackluster about where you are at in life, you know you want to navigate life with a greater sense of agency and purpose. It is possible!

My ultimate goal is to create a space to be and to explore what it means to be YOU. This is different for each and every one of us, and my greatest strengths as a therapist are my willingness and ability to listen openly and reflect clearly, so that you understand yourself and your needs with more clarity. Taking goal oriented action both in and out of sessions is an essential part of the therapeutic process - not just knowing what you want to do but how to do it! And that's another one of my strengths: helping you identify actions and make a plan to align your actions with your truest version of self.
In each session I bring nervous system regulation and deep, intuitive listening to help you feel safe to develop more insight and self-understanding. My knowledge of the brain and nervous system helps us address not only what you think but also how your brain and body feel. I utilize cognitive restructuring, somatic and mindfulness practices, existential therapy, and brief solution-focused therapy to create an individualized treatment approach for each client.

when I started to become aware I wanted to be a counselor: circa 2018 at a job surrounded by people who were passionate and enthusiastic about their work which highlighted the giant void I was feeling - I knew I had to find what lights me up and go and do it! There were some zigs and zags along the way, but in 2022 I graduated from WCU with my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My own lived experience of identity exploration and uncertainty about 'what I want to be when I grow up' helps me support others as they navigate their own unique paths.
